Video in Adsense & Adwords
Google has just announced that it will launch its online video ads later this week, in an effort to diversify their current contextual ads and images which makes up most of their profits. If you look at this post, the ad will look very much like Google Video player except that the logo's replaced by a sentence that says 'Ads by Google':
The interesting thing is that since you can pause the ads, your video can hold more content since it can act like a image ad and also a video but this could also mean that the ads could be more expensive.
Also, since most countries are not fully converted to broadband yet, I'm not so sure if this will be as successful as contextual based static link ads or images. Anyway, this service is only available for US, Canada and Japan currently.
