Site Submissions

links

Due to the way the search engine ranking algorithms of many search engines are created and the fact that search engine bots crawl through pages by links; backlinks or links from other sites to yours is very important to the "score" you can get from search engines. Needless to say, the more links the higher the "score" for your site. Also, it is important to note that the quality of the link is very important as well e.g. the link from a highly ranked website is more valuable than a low traffic blog.

So, how do you start finding sites to get a link back to your own blog? The easiest method is to submit your site to web directories, blog aggregators, etc. You can get a massive list from RSSTop55 and submit your site to each of them.

Alternatively, you can write to people who have the same interest as you and ask for a link exchange. Also, always display your website address as signatures in the forums you frequent or even in your emails.
